A Firestorm of Trick Premieres and Adrenaline

Budapest just witnessed history. When NIGHT of the JUMPs touched down in Hungary for the very first time, the MVM Dome erupted into chaos – the good kind. Freestyle Motocross, Mountainbike, BMX, and Scooter athletes from all over the world went all in, turning the arena into a cauldron of adrenaline, pyrotechnics, and pure progression. Suicide Frontflips. One-Hand Doubleflips. Scooter Cashrolls. And the world’s first Seatgrab Stripper Backflip – all unleashed in one night.

FMX – The Battle of the Titans

Eight FMX gladiators, two groups, 90 seconds, eight tricks – no second chances.

In the early rounds, Czech rider Matej Cesak and Italy’s Davide Rossi stormed their way into the final, with Rossi’s flawless Cliffhanger Flip and 1-Hand Nac Frontflip setting the tone. On the other side of the bracket, Germany’s Hannes Ackermann threw down the World’s First Seatgrab Stripper Backflip despite a hand injury, while his brother and World Champion Luc Ackermann showed why he’s called the FMX Terminator – pulling off Tsunami Flips, 360s, Frontflips, and Double Backflips like it was nothing.

In the final, Libor Podmol laid down a clean, stylish run, before Matej Cesak raised the bar with No-Hand Frontflip, Lazyflip, and a massive Frontflip Nac Nac. Then came Luc. Calm. Focused. Ruthless. He opened with a Double Backflip, followed by a 360 Nac, Tsunami Flip, Hartattack Flip, and a jaw-dropping 1-Hand Double Backflip – a trick no one had seen before. The judges had no doubts: 87 points and the victory. Luc Ackermann took his second win in three events, pushing his championship lead even further.

MTB + Scooter – The Next Generation Takes Over

After the incredible success of the new NXT:GEN format, the MTB/Scooter Best Trick Contest reached new heights in Budapest. Twelve riders went all out, and the level was nothing short of insane.Spain’s Alejandro Bonafe landed a Twister to Bounce Frontflip to take the win ahead of Tom Pfeiffer (GER) with his mind-bending Triple Backflip and Petr Castka’s Scooter Cashroll.

The Championship Race

With his Budapest victory, Luc Ackermann now leads the NIGHT of the JUMPs World Tour with 58 points, followed by Libor Podmol (44 pts) and Matej Cesak (42 pts).
