Berlin shocked the sport. Munich escalated the pressure. Now Leipzig becomes the next decisive chapter of the NIGHT of the JUMPs season.

The NIGHT of the JUMPs 2026 World Tour Championships continues this Saturday, May 23rd, at the QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA in Leipzig - and after the first two stops of the season, the championship battle is more intense and unpredictable than ever before.

What started in Berlin as a dramatic opening has quickly evolved into one of the most competitive seasons in recent years. World records, championship battle is more intense and unpredictable than ever before.

What started in Berlin as a dramatic opening has quickly evolved into one of the most competitive seasons in recent years. World records, champions pressure, massive crashes and constantly changing standings have completly reshaped the fight for the title.

And now Leipzig enters the spotlight.

FMX: The Championship Pressure Is Rising

Berlin changed everything.

Multiple champion Luc Ackermann missed the final at the opening stop of the season, while Pat Bowden claimed victory and Marc Pinyol stunned the world with his 12-meter scissor-lift backflip.

Then Munich answered with another turning point.

Under enormous pressure, Luc Ackermann delivered one of the strongest final runs in recent years to take victory in front of the German crowd and launch himself back into the championship fight. At the same time, Marc Pinyol pushed freestyle motocross even further by setting a new world record with a 13-meter backflip flat drop.

Now the standings are tighter than ever heading into Leipzig.

Marc Pinyol currently leads the World Tour Championship, while Davide Rossi and Luc Ackermann continue chasing closely behind. Riders like Matej Cesak, Libor Podmol, Mikolaj Tempka and Hannes Ackermann are all capable of changing the championship picture with a single run.

Leipzig will also feature another historic moment for the series: Dallan Goldman is the first South African FMX rider competing at NIGHT of the JUMPs in 15 years.

FMX Line-Up:

Luc Ackermann, Davide Rossi, Marc Pinyol, Matej Cesak, Mikolaj Tempka, Libor Podmol, Hannes Ackermann, Dallan Goldman, Alex Bucholtz (reserve)

MTB BMX Scooter: A Completely Open Battle

The non-motorized disciplines have become just a competitive as the FMX championship itself.

Tom Pfeiffer opened the season in Berlin with a victory that immediately placed him at the top of the standings, while Lennox Zimmermann missed the opening stop completely.

But Munich completely reshuffeled the rankings.

Alejandro Bonafe claimed victory in Munich and moved into the overall lead, while both Tom Pfeiffer and Lennox Zimmermann missed the podium after crashing on massive progression attempts.

Now Leipzig could change everything once again.

Will Alejandro defend his lead? Can Tom fight his way back to the top? And what happens if Lennox finally lands one of his huge double flip combinations?

At the same time, Leipzig introduces to new names to the NIGHT of the JUMPs stage: Marek Sander and Aiven Lindner both join the line-up as newcomers ready to enter the competitive freestyle contest.

Leipzig also welcomes a special guest from German bike culture.

Internet personality and Simson icon Eddy Frech will be part of NIGHT of the JUMPs this weekend, bringing his unmistakenable East German two-strokes energy to the event.

Known for his Simson builds and massive online following, Eddy Frech has become one of the most recognizable names in German motocycle culture and adds another unique element to the Leipzig stop.
