The battle for the world title is only getting more intense.
The 2026 NIGHT of the JUMPs Championship is entering one of its most exciting phases. After two spectacular events, every point matters, every trick counts, and the battle for the world title is only getting more intense.
From breathtaking FMX runs to incredible MTB, BMX and Scooter performances, the season has already delivered unforgettable moments. Packed arenas, new tricks, emotional podiums and fierce rivalries have made the opening rounds a perfect start to the championship.
FMX: Pinyol Leads – But Nobody Is Safe
Marc Pinyol currently tops the FMX standings with 54 points, but his lead is anything but secure.
Luc Ackermann is only six points behind on 48 points, while Davide Rossi follows closely with 46 points. Former World Champion Libor Podmol remains firmly in contention on 42 points, with Matej Cesak completing the Top 5 on 38 points.
Behind them, Mikolaj Tempka, Pat Bowden and Hannes Ackermann have already shown they have the speed, consistency and tricks to challenge for podium finishes at every stop.
One perfect run could completely reshuffle the championship.
MTB, BMX & Scooter: Bonafe Sets the Benchmark
The brand-new MTB, BMX & Scooter Championship has exceeded every expectation.
Alejandro Bonafe has been outstanding so far and leads the standings with 56 points, but the fight behind him is wide open.
Tom Pfeiffer (42 pts) and Jimi Brandt (36 pts) continue to apply pressure, while Lennox Zimmermann (32 pts) and Petr Castka (26 pts) are still well within striking distance.
With the level of riding increasing at every event, nobody can afford to make mistakes.
The Championship Continues in Nuremberg
The next stop takes the Freestyle MX World Championship to Nuremberg on 17 October 2026, where another crucial chapter of this season will be written inside the PSD Bank Nürnberg ARENA.
Can Marc Pinyol extend his lead?
Will Luc Ackermann deliver in front of the German fans?
Can Davide Rossi or Libor Podmol make their move?

The Road to the Championship Is Far From Over
Nuremberg is only the next milestone.
After Germany, the championship continues to Basel, Switzerland, where NIGHT of the JUMPs returns to the iconic St. Jakobshalle on 5 December after a two-year absence. Just two weeks later, the tour heads to Istanbul, Türkiye, for another spectacular night that promises to bring a completely different atmosphere and another decisive battle for championship points.
And while those events will already play a huge role in deciding the 2026 champions... fans should know that there is even more to come. The journey doesn't end there. Another major announcement is just around the corner, and it's one you won't want to miss.
