LINE UP Berlin

October 5, 2024 at the Uber Arena in Berlin will bring together some of the world’s best action sports athletes on 2 wheels for a spectacular evening when the NIGHT of the JUMPs comes home to its roots in the German capital city with high voltage Freestyle Motocross action!

With more than 300 NIGHT of the JUMPs® events over the past 23 yeras, more than 3.5 million enthusiastic fans worldwide have witnessed countless legends compete, and World Champions be crowned such as Mat Rebeaud, Ailo Gaup, Andre Villa, Remi Bizouard, Libor Podmol, David Rinaldo and Luc Ackermann here.

The NIGHT of the JUMPs is pure action sport on two wheels. In the Freestyle run contest, the riders will throw down their best eight best tricks in 100 seconds plus their Double Up. In two groups of four riders each, they will fight for the four places for the final. In the final round, they will fight for the day's victory and important points for the Tour Championship with their toughest tricks. In addition, the Best Whip Contest oozes style, with all 6 riders flying through the air at the same time. And in the Synchronized competition, two FMX athletes line up per team to land their toughest tricks as synchronously as possible.

The best riders of the FMX scene will be joined by top-class Mountain Bike, BMX and Scooter stars who will plunge from the new 10.50-metre-high NIGHT of the JUMPs Tower and perform their best tricks such as front flips, double backflips, cashrolls or twisters.

For the first time in Berlin, trampoline athletes will also be there and perform insane tricks at a height of up to 12 meters.

Now the athletes for the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Berlin have been determined. Germany's FMX Terminator Luc Ackermann will be there. The local German FMX World Champion, X Games Gold medallist and NIGHT of the JUMPs Tour Champion will compete directly to defend his title with his double backflips, 360s and tsunami flips in the Uber Arena. In the 2024 ranking of the NIGHT of the JUMPs, the Luc is currently leading again after three victories from 3 events.

Libor Podmol,  the 2010 FMX World Champion returns to the German capital. And the 40-year-old still has the biggest tricks up his sleeve. Whipmaster and fellow Czech rider, Matej Cesak will also be in Berlin. The Czech has won all NIGHT of the JUMPs Whip Contests of the last two years with his Turndown Lookback Whips and thus received his invitation to the prestigious X Games in USA.

Davide Rossi, currently the best Italian FMX athlete at NOTJ in 2024 will return after his Cliffhanger Flip, Tsunami Flip and Cordova Flip put him in 3rd place in Zurich. He comes together with Leo Fini (ITA), who also jumped into the final in Zurich.

Marc Pinyol will compete from Spain. The Catalan regular at NOTJ has mastered front flips, tsunami flips and even the California roll and will be looking to push his Podium results to stay within shooting distance of Luc Ackermann as he is in 2nd position overall for the season.

Mikolej Tempka (POL) and Andreu Lacondeguy (ESP) complete the field of FMX athletes. The Spaniard, Lacondeguy is not only celebrating his NIGHT of the JUMPs premiere, he is also going to make history at NIGHT of the JUMPs as the first athlete to compete in the FMX Contest and MTB Best Trick.

Among the non-motorized players are stars such as scooter champion Maty Pekarek (CZE), Swiss MTB icon Lucas Huppert, Spain's doubleflip to bounce frontflipper Alejandro Bonafe and Berlin's BMX legend Leon Binckebanck next to Dan Miler (CZE), Reto Heini (SUI), Enzo Dejesus (ESP), Maik Böhm (GER), Petr Castka (CZE) and Jimi Brandt (GER).
