2005 was definitely the year of Andre Villa. The 23 year old Norway won the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Milan and several other international events. He had one of the best styles in season 2005. His backflip combos and special Lockbacks were nearly perfect. All that brought him the “Rookie of the year”-Award from the IFMXF. André was born in Lillehammer, but lives in Spain. Here he can train 12 month’ a year on his huge trainings area. André reached number 6 of the IFMXF World Ranking in 2005. In 2006 he was one of the best FM Riders worldwide. He won several Night of the Jumps contests and was the one to beat at the FIM Freestyle MX World Championships. But because of an injury he missed the last contests and ended up 3rd. No he is back on the track and highly motivated to get back in the Top5 of the IFMXF World Ranking.
